Governance Board Members Wanted

We are seeking new members to join the Governance Board of The Third Place Community Trust, who hold the lease and management for the Stillwater Hall.

About the Role

As a board member, you will help guide the future of the hall by:

  • Providing strategic direction and oversight

  • Supporting sustainable and responsible management

  • Representing community interests

  • Contributing to decision-making and planning

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome expressions of interest from people of all backgrounds. You don’t need previous governance experience - just a willingness to contribute and learn.

Skills or experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Community development

  • Finance or accounting

  • Property or facilities management

  • Fundraising or grant writing

  • Marketing and communications

  • Legal or governance

Commitment

Approximately 2 hours per month and attendance at regular board meetings (monthly)
